Flexible Menu Driven Employee Benefits
This website is designed to provide you with an insight into a
system of menu driven, employee benefits that we believe is the
most simple, focused and flexible package on the market.
cafeteriabenefits.co.uk is not an interactive site nor does it
offer an on-line solution to employee benefits. To do so would,
in terms of the service we offer, miss the point. This site is simply
a reference tool to inform our existing and prospective clients
and provide you with 3 examples of what you and your staff could
enjoy rather than the traditional solutions to employee benefits.

The Concept
Quite simply, your company, as the employer, decide on the content
of a menu of benefits. You decide on the budget; You decide on the
level of administration input you require and introduce us to the
relevant staff in your organisation. After that we arrange a seminar
for your staff, provide them with an information brochure, arrange
to meet each member of staff individually and put into place the
benefits they have chosen off the menu provided by you.
We then send each member of staff a folder containing confirmation
of their chosen benefits. Each member of staff will be able to consult
with us every 3 months and change their benefits every year. You
notify us of leavers and joiners and we handle the rest of the administration.
We act as a sub-contracted employee benefits department; the filter
between you and your staff, allowing them maximum choice while you
handle virtually no admin and carry no liability.
''Every
employee needs advice on their financial future;
every employer wishes the whole subject would just go away.''
Does this statement ring any bells with you?
We Are Liable For:
- Advice
- Ongoing contracts
- Processing claims
- Liability or scrutiny by any regulator or external body
- All contact with your employees
Your Commitment Will Be:
- Agree a budget
- Collect monthly contributions from payroll
- Notify us of leavers and joiners
- That's it
Your staff will be provided with a dedicated number through to
a nominated member of our Menu Support team, that person will be
present at all meetings with your staff and will be the point of
contact for your staff; personal, on a first name basis and totally
accountable.
A call from your staff will always be taken by us, here in South
Wales and we promise to have an answer to any query within 48 hours.
We know you will be impressed.
Don't take our word for it.....................
See what the Chartered Institute of Professional Development
say about Cafeteria Benefits. Go to www.cipd.co.uk
and search Cafeteria Benefits at the top of their Home Page.
If any employee leaves your employment, either they sign an individual
Direct Debit and carry on with each contract individually or they
let each contract lapse or make it 'paid up'. Not one of the contracts
on the menu nor the advice will remain the responsibility of the
employer.
Flexible Menu Driven Benefits
Are The Future - WHY?
Take for example our perennial fictitious employee Trevor Hewitt
and his colleague Simon Greening.
Trevor is 27 years old, he is married with 2 children and earns
£27,000 per annum. His wife works part time and earns a very
valuable £8,000 per annum. Trevor has decided that he needs,
quite rightly, to protect his family by taking out £150,000
worth of life insurance, £50,000 in critical illness protection
and £18,000 per annum in income protection.
Simon is 27, single and also earns £27,000. He couldn't care
less about life insurance and dreams of snowboarding all day as
soon as possible. He has decided to put all his allowance into the
company pension plan.
Trevor and Simon are work colleagues.
They socialise together, work on the same shift and have been
offered exactly the same Cafeteria Benefits by their employer. The
menu they have chosen from is the same but their final Schedule
of Benefits are radically different.
Why on earth would they want the same benefits?
Their circumstances and priorities could not be more different
while, their age and salaries are the identicle.
So what if they change?
It is possible that Simon, in the space of 12 months, could have
got married and be expecting a family. If he is minded to, and it
is up to him, he can meet with an adviser who can change his Schedule
of Benefits to reflect his new circumstances.
None of these changes impacts on the company.
The exception being that the month after Simon changes his benefits
your company would be asked for a slightly smaller payment to the
pension provider and a slightly larger payment to the companies
supplying the cover that Simon has chosen. This information is confirmed
to you on a spreadsheet which would accompany the request for a
cheque to cover the premiums.
All that remains for you to do is click on the links below and
view the
totally fictitious Schedules of Benefits, all chosen off the same
menu.
